Abstract

StyleMatch looks for the authors whose writing moves most like yours. It compares a passage with profiles built from independent works in their original languages, and it can decline to name a strong match. Style and subject are measured separately: one model follows syntax, punctuation, rhythm, and register, while another tracks what the passage is about. The ranking comes from the style model; topic remains supporting context. Cross-language results are grouped by target language because their raw scores cannot be compared directly. The numbers are similarities, not probabilities of authorship. Where the source permits it, each result includes the author's closest original-language passage and the stylistic details behind the match.
